JANUARY 22, 2026 – 1745 UPDATE: Keller Army Community Hospital will make an operational assessment on Friday morning, January 23, 2026.

The decision to return to full operations will depend on the restoration of hospital utilities. The restoration of hospital utilities will depend on the repair of the water main break.

  • * Friday surgeries have been cancelled. Beneficiaries scheduled for surgery will be contacted and the procedure will be re=scheduled.
  • * Friday morning Primary Care appointments will be re-scheduled for virtual appointments or to a later date. Friday afternoon appointments are still scheduled (in-person) but are subject to change pending restoration of hospital utilities.
  • * A decision on Pharmacy, Radiology, and Laboratory departments will be made Friday morning pending restoration of hospital utilities. If these services are closed, contingency plans will be put in place.
We sincerely apologize to all our beneficiaries for the sudden suspension of hospital services. It is unfortunate that the water main break has impacted our facilities and the service we provide. We understand the significant inconvenience and concern this causes, and we want to assure you that we are working diligently to restore full services as safely and quickly as possible. Your health and well-being remain our highest priority, and we appreciate your patience and understanding during this challenging time.

We will provide an update on the hospital status on Friday morning.

Sexual Assault Medical Forensic Examiner (SAMFE)

CONTACT West Point Sexual Harassment/Assault Response and Prevention (SHARP) program if you have been sexually harassed and/or assaulted.

When a sexual assault occurs within the West Point footprint, a specially trained medical professional is available to ensure that person gets the care they need, and want.

Sexual Assault Medical Forensic Examiners are experienced medical providers- registered nurses, nurse practitioners, Certified Nurse Midwives, physician assistants and doctors- with at least two years of clinical experience and additional training in performing sexual assault forensic exams.

There is no one answer or path toward healing for survivors of sexual assault. If you recently experienced a sexual assault, you may want to consider a Sexual Assault Forensic Exam (SAFE). SAFE is an examination of a sexual assault patient. It includes gathering medical history; conducting a full head-to-toe physical assessment and examination; documenting findings; collecting evidence; coordinating follow-on treatment; and providing necessary medical treatment. SAFEs are helpful for survivors who may want to pursue legal action against their perpetrator now or in the future.

More information and an InfoVideo of SAFE can be found at the DoD SAFE Helpline page.

The prevention and elimination of sexual harassment and sexual assault is our number one priority. The policy of the Army is that sexual harassment and sexual assault is not acceptable conduct and will not be condoned or tolerated. Everyone must actively work towards eliminating sexual harassment and sexual assault by strictly adhering to regulatory guidance and creating an environment of dignity and respect for all. Sexual harassment and sexual assault destroy teamwork and negatively affects combat readiness. Successful mission accomplishment can be achieved only in an environment free of sexual harassment and sexual assault for all personnel.
