The Keller Army Community Hospital's Community Influenza Event is scheduled for
November 6th (12 p.m. - 6 p.m.) and 7th (8 a.m. - 4 p.m.), 2024, at Eisenhower Hall;
and November 13th (9 a.m. - 4 p.m.), 2024, at Keller Army Community Hospital.
65 years and older, those with solid organ transplants and taking immunosuppressive medications
Keller Army Community Hospital’s Immunization Clinic is now offering the flu vaccine to patients ages 65 and older, and patients 18 through 64 years who have had a solid organ transplant and are taking immunosuppressive medications.
These TRICARE beneficiaries can call the appointment line at 845-938-7992 or 800-552-2907 to schedule a flu vaccination appointment.
Vaccination times are Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Active Duty Service Members:
- Active service members, National Guard, and Reserve members are required to get the flu vaccine.
ADSMs, Guard/Reserve members who obtain the flu vaccine must follow their respective service's policy guidance for recording the vaccine in your shot record. You’ll need the following information:
- Date the vaccine was given
- Vaccine name or code
- Manufacturer
- Lot number
Active Duty Family Members/Beneficiaries:
- You can visit any participating network pharmacy or a TRICARE-authorized provider. Visit https://www.tricare.mil/flu for more information.
- If you obtain the flu vaccine anywhere besides Keller, we suggest you call ahead to assure they accept TRICARE (or your form of insurance). Additionally, please provide the following information to your PCM, so the vaccination can be updated in your records: date given, vaccine name or code, manufacturer, and lot number.
