Laboratory and Pathology
Effective health care is based on medical evidence and the Keller Army Community Hospital laboratory performs the tests to provide much of that evidence. We want to ensure your good health or find the problems that threaten it. From initial sample to final result, the Keller lab provides caregivers medical information that supports your health.
All patients who need fasting blood work done need to arrive between 7 a.m.- 8 a.m.
Services Provided
Keller Army Community Hospital:
- Phlebotomy - drawing blood, typically for medical testing
- Urinalysis - examines a urine sample to detect and assess a variety of diseases and conditions, including urinary tract infections, kidney disease, and diabetes
- Hematology - study of blood, blood-forming tissues, and blood disorders
- Serology - study of blood serum and other bodily fluids, focusing on the identification of antibodies and antigens
- Transfusion Medicine - focused on the transfusion of blood and blood components, encompassing blood collection, testing, processing, and administration
- Microbiology - study of microorganisms
- Clinical Chemistry - analyzing bodily fluids, primarily blood and urine, to diagnose and monitor diseases

How to make an appointment
The Keller Army Community Hospital laboratory is a walk-in and no appointment is necessary. Choose "laboratory" when drawing a ticket from the check-in kiosk.

U.S. Military Academy Cadets can call the Mologne Cadet Health Clinic laboratory at 315-774-8789.

Referrals and Outside Laboratory Prescriptions
All outside orders will be accepted as drop-off only and will be processed in one (1) business day. Patients may return to the laboratory after one full (1) business day following day of drop-off for blood draw.
