Mammogram/Breast Exam
Women’s Health plays a vital role in the overall readiness of the Army and in the overall health of our beneficiaries. Women's Health refers to comprehensive women’s health care as well as health issues that are unique to women.
Regular mammogram screenings are a powerful tool in the fight against breast cancer. The American College of Radiology (ACR) and Society of Breast Imaging (SBI) recommend that women start getting annual mammograms at age 40.
You may call the Radiology Department to make an appointment at 845-938-4840 without a referral. You can also discuss having a mammogram with your PCM. An appointment can be made with your PCM by calling the Appointment Call Center at 315-774-8200.
If you are seeing a doctor outside of Keller Army Community Hospital and have had a mammogram, please ask your doctor to fax your Mammogram results to 845-938-1120, Attention: Gwendolyn Swinson, RN. This will assure you results are entered into your medical records.
Thank you for taking the time to take care of your health.
